This is how we roll
Mar. 30th, 2006 12:43 pmLately on Wednesday nights we've been going out to dinner with other motorcyclists. It's a weekly non-specific club event where we rotate between three of four local towns trying different restaurants. Starting next week it'll be a Ride and Eat but over the winter months it's just an Eat and Eat.
Last week we went to a Mexican restaurant in Inwood. There were representatives from the Southern Cruisers (my club), American Justice Freedom Riders, and the Christian Motorcycle Association. I think we had about 15 people show up. The food was authentic, plentiful and really good. No Taco Supreme's here.
Last night we were scheduled to meet at Red, Hot and Blue in Winchester. Since it was basically nice during the day I figured I would ride down there. I mean, it was only 30 miles or so, right? Well, unfortunately, that was also what the temperature felt like. Brrrrr! The ride down wasn't nearly as bad as the ride back. I was a popsicle when I finally got home but a lovely mug of hot chocolate prepared by the lovely wife fixed that.
Can I just say, I can NOT wait for warmer weather!
