macdobhran: Whoop Ass (Worst Case)
How to Treat Someone Who Has Been
Struck by Lightning

________________________________________

  1. Move the victim to a safe location to avoid being struck again.
Do not be afraid to touch or move the victim; individuals struck by lightning do not carry a charge.

  2. If the victim is not breathing, start mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
give one breath every 5 seconds.

  3. Check for a pulse.
Feel the side of the victim's neck for at least 20 to 30 seconds. If no pulse is detected, start cardiac compressions.

  4. Call for help as soon as possible.
