• Empathy is not sympathy. Sympathy is a form of agreement, a form of judgement. And it is sometimes the more appropriate emotion and response. But people often feed on sympathy. It makes them dependent.

Keep forgetting to mention, I have an Audio CD version of 7 Habits (6 CDs). It's pieced together from Covey's conferences/workshops, and it's a really good listen for the car on the way to and from work.
