That's the way I feel about it. If there's a community tree or decorated area, then by all means, add whatever makes you happy during this season. And individuals should be allowed to decorate their cubicles as they see fit.
I've never understood how someone could be offended by Christmas (in the Santa sense). Santa doesn't discriminate, he delivers toys to all faiths and races. And if someone is offended because it's a Christian based holiday, does that mean they get offended every time they pass a church? Or do they save up all their righteous indignation for December?
If people would just look past all the trappings and realize that it's meant to be inclusive and not exclusive, I think the world would be a much nicer place. At least in December.
