Everybody's workin' for the WEEKEND!

Saturday was my second pilgrimage of the season to MDRF. (pictures are here) Yes, it was raining. Yes, it was muddy. Yes, it was cold. But I like that kind of weather.

However, the crab dip was hot and the shrimp shooters were spicy, so all was good with my world. I got to hang out with The Gang, but we were all keenly missing America's Sweethearts. I even helped de-virginize a Faire newbie. Although I think she set her sights on some other boy. Oh well, celtikselkie is just going to have to bring me another one to play with.

Sunday was a baby's very 1st birthday! It's hard to believe our goddaughter is 1 already. pictures of that soiree are here) There were many children, lots of snackies, SCHWEEET tea, and cake. I didn't go too far off the diet (come on, it was a par-TEH!) though it was a surpreme act of will not to chow down on that cake.

This week is going to be slow at work because most everyone is out in California at a big retreat/meeting. I've got a ton of things to do around the house though. Mostly outside stuff like trimming, raking, mowing, planting, etc.

Two more weeks until the final weekend of MDRF... I can't wait.

Nope, we've got my ClanLad this weekend so we'll be doing a corn maze, fall planting, soccer game, Halloween decorating, yard work, etc. We'll be there both days of closing weekend, however.

Believe it or not, he is actually going to be dressed this Sunday!!! I will have to get lots of pictures!
