Place a folded jacket or towel underneath the victim's head, elevating it slightly above the level of the heart to reduce pressure inside the skull and the eyeball. - Apply a cold compress.
Use a layer of clothing or plastic to prevent skin and tissue from freezing. Avoid pushing or putting pressure on the eye. - Offer pain medication.
Avoid administering aspirin. It may cause excess bleeding, which can be harmful during an eye operation. - Get help.
