Interdependence Day

Well, we didn't make it to Berkeley Springs. We were all dressed ready to go when a quick look at the weather channel made us decide against riding all the way out there. Good thing too, because within a half hour of our departure time, it started pouring down rain. Twice.

We decided to stick closer to home and go see a movie. Unfortunately it started raining again so we took the Jeep. Despite my campaigning for Transformers, cellymcfae wanted to see Live Free or Die Hard. It was a decent enough diversion but not really up to the other movies in the series. I don't know if it was different writers or a different director but something was just off.

It was a nice day off but tomorrow it's back to the gym and work.

Yeah, Arnold did almost that same stunt in True Lies. Other things that bothered me were CB channel 66.6. A) CBs only have channels 1 through 40 and B) they're only whole numbers, no point anything. And the flying of the helicopter after "a few lessons"?? Puh-lease.

The CB thing I noticed as well being an ex Morse code operator for the Navy :-) (I still do for fun...shhhh people will think I'm a geek!!!)
I had to laugh though because Kevin Smith (I luuuuuvvvv him!!!!) probably thought that up himself :-)

Oh, and I'm sorry...HOW BAD OF A SHOT can you be when there are high caliber machine weaponry in your hands? huh? sheeeshhhhhh

WHAT??? You mean you doubt the validity of outrunning several machine guns fired in your direction at once?! Without a scratch??

Next, you're going to tell me that those guns only hold 30 rounds or so and can't be fired continuously for 2 or 3 minutes without reloading. Bah!
