How to Stop a Wedding
_______________________________________

  1. Make your feelings known before the service.

  2. If you cannot stop the ceremony beforehand, wait until the ceremony.
Stand up and say "I do" when the officiant asks for objections.

  3. Ask the officiant if you can present your concerns in private.

  4. If you do not have the courage to speak up during the ceremony, feign illness or a seizure.

  5. If you cannot fake illness, pull the fire alarm.

  6. If the ceremony has been completed, prevent the signing of the wedding license.

  7. If the license has been signed, try to prevent the marriage from being consummated.

loudly play the audio (or video) recordings of either bride or groom in compromising positions with someone other than their betrothed? or is that just used in movies?

I think pulling the fire alarm is actually illegal, not to mention dangerous. (For potential responders as much as the guests.) Author of that idea needs a good whap. :(

Seriously? If you feel that strongly and you're too chicken to say your piece face to face, send an anonymous note addressing your concerns. It shouldn't wait for the ceremony.

2.5:
Bang on windows of sanctuary, loudly shouting bride's name, raising the alarm of the congregation, and the ire of the bride's parents.

Escape with bride via public transport, e.g., a bus.
