macdobhran: Whoop Ass (Worst Case)
How to Survive a Wild Animal Bite
_________________________________________

  1. Immediately wash the bite with soap and running warm water, if possible.
The wound can also be treated with an antiseptic such as hydrogen peroxide or an antibiotic ointment.

  2. Dress the wound with a sterile cloth of bandage.

  3. Capture the animal, if possible.
If the animal is wild and you kill it, preserve its head (but do not freeze it): The brain will be tested for rabies. If the animal cannot be captured, be prepared to give doctors and animal control authorities a thorough description of the animal.

  4. Get medical attention as soon as possible.
Then report the bite to animal control authorities.
